The research project " River landscape-types in Austria "Leitbilder" (guiding vision) for a sustainable development of river landscapes" and the supplementary module "Anthropogenic uses and impacts in and along the River Möll around 1830 based on two selected river stretches" was initiated by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture in Dezember 1999 within the framework of the Austrian research program 'Austrian Landscape Research' and started in February 2000.
